thinkorswim® Setup Session
Almost as important to learning how options work is understanding how to open, manage, and close trades and positions on your broker application. Not knowing how to use the broker can cause delays and lead to possible losses.
The ThinkorSwim (ToS) application from TD Ameritrade is not fully set up when first running it and as a powerful and complex platform takes some time to learn how to use it.
In this session we’ll work to set up ToS for you as well as show you how around so you know how to see what is going on in your account. Using the Paper Money version we’ll set up a sample trade and send the order if the market is open. If the market is closed we’ll show some sample trades on our practice accounts which will be very helpful.
The broker set up session is limited to TD Ameritrade’s ToS only at the time. Other brokers are expected to be added in the future.
